YEREVAN. – The increase in salary of police officers has been already discussed, police chief Valery Osipyan told reporters on Monday.
According to him, an increase in pay is expected till January.
“We have already discussed this with the authorized persons of the executive branch,” Osipyan said.
The number of police officers could be cut, said Police Chief adding: “It is not because Armenia has been a police state.”
