The Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will appoint a rapporteur to prepare the report on “Political Prisoners in Azerbaijan,” APA reported.
According to the source, the meeting will be held on June 25 within PACE summer session.
Earlier, Netherlands MP Pieter Omtzigt put forward an initiative to prepare a report “political prisoners in Azerbaijan”.
