The United States plans to impose additional tariffs on $200 billion in Chinese goods, Wall Street Journal writes quoting its sources. 

This will be a response to 25% tariffs on the imports of American goods that were imposed by China. However, WSJ writes that Washington hopes to continue talks with Beijing.

China’s Ministry of Commerce responded immediately saying that they are shocked by U.S. trade policy and plan to take countermeasures.
