The explosion targeted the mosque in Gardez city, the provincial capital of Paktia province, Afghanistan.

“Explosion reported inside a mosque in Gardez city, Paktia province, local officials confirmed. Causalities feared.  #Afghanistan” Tolo News tweeted. 

According to latest reports, 20 people were killed.

Local officials confirmed the incident and said preliminary reports indicate a suicide attack has taken place inside a mosque, the Khaama reported.
