Website of the Belgian city of Antwerp has informed that evacuation was conducted due to a fire that broke out at a nickel sulfide warehouse at the city port, reported RBC news agency of Russia.
According to authorities, the fire started at a 6,000-square-meter warehouse.
Even though the fire intensity was small, it had broken out in a large area.
All ships and businesses at a 1.8km radius from the fire zone were evacuated.
A toxic smoke, which is hazardous for humans, had spread at the port.
