Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has called the murder of the leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, a provocation aimed to derail the Minsk agreements' implementation, Interfax reported.
"This is an open provocation aimed to derail the implementation of the Minsk agreements," Lavrov told reporters in commenting about Zakharchenko's murder.
