The 911 emergency hotline of Armenia received a call, on Sunday at 8:45pm, according to which a dead body was detected on the road at the slopes of Mount Aragats, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad as well as an operative rescue team were dispatched to the scene.
Subsequently, rescuers and police officers found the dead body of a 66-year-old person, nearby the southern peak of the mountain, and at an elevation of about 3,464 meters.
Rescuers brought the body down from the mountain and carried to a waiting ambulance.
