Some parts of Armenia’s North-South Road Corridor will be toll roads.

Ashot Hakobyan, the Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies, said the aforementioned at Tuesday’s press conference to sum up the results of the first 100 days of his tenure in this capacity. He added that this refers to the Sisian-Kajaran section of this road corridor.

“It will be [a] toll [road] for everyone—for foreigners and locals, alike; that section’s being [a] toll [road] is justified,” Hakobyan said. “ [But] that fee will not exceed the cost of fuel currently used when traveling along that road.”
