The Russian side expects frank and serious talks during the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, said presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

“A lot of questions have accumulated both from our and the Armenian side,” Ushakov said.

According to him, Russia expects “frank” conversations on all issues, RIA Novosti reported.

Putin and Pashinyan are expected to discuss key issues on the development of Russian-Armenian allied relations.

Earlier, the spokesperson for Russian President Dmitry Peskov noted that Putin and Pashinyan will meet on September 8 in Moscow.
