A major road accident has occurred in Vayk, Armenia, as a passenger van turned over, and there were injured.

The 911 emergency hotline of Armenia received a report, on Friday at 12։30pm, according to which a traffic accident had occurred on the Yerevan-Meghri motorway, as a vehicle had turned over, there were affected, and rescuers were needed.

A fire and rescue squad as well as an operative rescue team were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a passenger van had turned over on the aforementioned motorway.

Prior to the rescuers’ arrival at the scene, however, four passengers of this vehicle were taken to Yeghegnadzor town hospital. Doctors said they were in satisfactory condition.
