Russian-Armenian relations are developing steadily in all directions, said Russian President Vladimir Putin during the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Saturday.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President highlighted the special nature of bilateral relations, RIA Novosti reported.
“Today, Russian-Armenian relations are developing steadily in all directions. This concerns political relations, military sphere, security issues, economic cooperation,” said Russian President.
He highlighted energy cooperation, noting the low prices of Russian gas deliveries to Armenia - $ 150 per thousand cubic meters.
"Relations are developing in the metallurgical industry and in machine building,” Putin added, noting the growth in trade turnover last year by almost 30% and expressing a hope for exceeding the indicator by the end of this year.
