An Armenian has died as a result of a road accident in Georgia.

On Saturday at 4:14pm, the 911 emergency hotline of Armenia received a report from the Emergency Situations Management Agency of Georgia, according to which a traffic accident involving Armenians had taken place at 2:20pm, nearby Pasanauri village in Georgia’s Dusheti district.

Accordingly, a truck—with Armenian citizen Gor Khachaturyan (born in 1989) behind its steering wheel—and a car—with Russian citizen Stepan Kirakosyan (born in 1963) behind its steering wheel—had crashed.

The car’s driver had died, whereas the three passengers—Russian citizens Stepan Kirakosyan (born in 2015), Susanna Avetisyan (born in 1989), and Davit Kirakosyan (born in 1988)—were taken to Dusheti town hospital.

This information has been transmitted to Armenia’s Center for Crisis Management, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Health.
