YEREVAN. – Ratification of the Armenian-UN structure agreement will help the government in implementing the planned projects in the field of agricultural development, Armenian Agriculture Minister Artur Khachatryan said on Monday.

His remark came during the discussion of ratification of the main agreement between Armenia and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.

According to him, ratification of this agreement solves some logistics problems.

“We provide the territory and we support the participants of the organization, so that it is easier for them to enter Armenia and transport the goods. We help them to choose local specialists and in the implementation of their tax obligations,” Khachatryan noted.

Asked by the Armenian Parliament Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov whether Georgia ratified this agreement, Artur Khachatryan noted he would be greatly surprised if Georgia did not.
