YEREVAN.- The task of the upcoming elections is not in the victory of Hayk Marutyan, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said during the rally of My step alliance.

He congratulated his fellow citizens on the start of the election campaign. "I hope the mood is good. This is very important, "Pashinyan said.

According to him, the current elections are very important, since these are the first elections after the velvet revolution in the country.

"They are extremely important, as the people, the citizen of Armenia, must confirm at the polling station our victory," Pashinyan said. 

According to him, the task of the elections is not to victory of Hayk Marutyan, but is to confirm the victory of the people. Nevertheless, Pashinyan urged to vote for the "My step" bloc.
