Tbilisi has no precise stance on suggestion of four American senators to deploy anti-missile systems in the territory of Georgia instead of Turkey.

Talking to the Georgian GHN agency country’s Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalanganiya said the initiative is interesting from the viewpoint of regional security and stability.

According to him, the senators addressed the U.S. leadership, that is American authorities have to decide on the issue.

Last week four Republican senators came forward with an initiative to deploy anti-missile shield in Georgia instead of Turkey.
