YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan’s violation of the ceasefire regime has a permanent nature.
Tigran Balayan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, stated the aforesaid at Wednesday’s press briefing.
When asked about the actions which the Armenian side will take in connection with Azerbaijan’s most recent ceasefire violation in the direction of Armenia’s Tavush Province, Balayan noted that these actions have been developed and the respective mechanism is clear.
As per the Armenian MFA spokesperson, first and foremost, the foreign ministries and ambassadors of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries (Russia, US, and France) as well as Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, are informed of this incident.
Tigran Balayan added that the latest breach of the truce is a consequence of Azerbaijan’s destructive policy of refusing the expansion of Kasprzyk’s team and the mechanisms for investigating such incidents.
