Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in Armenia on an official visit Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told Izvestia newspaper.

According to him, the exact date of the trip is still to be determined.

Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Putin and the prime minister of Armenia held negotiations in Moscow on September 8. After their meeting Nikol Pashinyan invited the Russian leader to Yerevan. The forthcoming meeting of heads of two states will become already the fifth from the moment of Nikol Pashinyan's election as the PM on May 8, 2018.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Azerbaijan on September 25, according to Leonid Kalashnikov, head of the committee on Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma.
