Yervand Khundkaryan has been elected Court of Cassation President by a secret ballot in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia.

Gagik Melikyan, Chairman of the NA Ad Hoc Committee on Counting, announced the aforementioned at Thursday’s parliamentary session.

In his words, 85 of the 105 MPs participated in the respective vote, and 74 of them voted for and 10—against Khundkaryan’s candidacy.
