The staff of the Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia has recorded reports that the Azerbaijani armed forces have yet again fired shots toward the border villages of Tavush Province, over the past few days.

Such reports are available in the media too.

The Ombudsman will soon summarize its fact-finding work in connection with the Azerbaijani army’s shootings toward Armenia’s border villages, ever since September 2. But this work already attests to the fact that these shots were fired in a manner that jeopardizes the lives and health of the peaceful residents of these villages.

A respective special report will be issued soon, and it will be sent to international human rights organizations.
