The presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey held an official meeting in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan.

“Yesterday, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met face-to-face with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,” the official website of the Azerbaijan president reported.

The two leaders discussed bilateral relations, underscored the implementation of joint projects, and exchanged views on several other topics of mutual interest.

Subsequently, they attended a military parade devoted to the “100th anniversary of Baku’s liberation from Bolshevik-[Armenian] Dashnak [i.e. Dashnaktsutyun Party] occupation.”
