Tigran Barseghyan, the chief architect of Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, has been relieved of his duties in this capacity.

Acting Yerevan Mayor Kamo Areyan has signed the respective decision.

Barseghyan told Hraparak (Square) newspaper that has been dismissed in accordance with his respective letter of resignation.

“There was no motive [for my dismissal],” he said, in particular. “It’s just that something begins and ends one day.”
