The Chinese Ministry of Commerce filed a complaint to the World Trade Organization against the US tariffs on Chinese goods import worth $200 billion, Reuters reported.

Since September 24, the US is expected to extend tariffs on China by 10%.

According to Chinese MFA spokesperson, Geng Shuang, the United States led to new uncertainty in US-Chinese talks.

China has always noted that the only right way to solve the Chinese-US trade problem is to negotiate and consult on an equal, sincere and mutually respectful basis, he said adding that US actions do not seem sincere or welcoming.

Trump on Monday announced the introduction of 10 percent duties on imports of Chinese goods worth about $ 200 billion from September 24 and threatened tariffs for products worth about $ 267 billion if Beijing retaliated.
