Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s postponement of his working visit to the US for several days in order to vote in the snap elections to Yerevan Council of Elders clearly shows that his local political interests and performances are much more important to Nikol Pashinyan than the foreign policy and state approaches of Armenia.

Former ruling Republican Party of Armenia Vice-Chairman Armen Ashotyan, who is also Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, wrote the aforesaid on Facebook.

“It’s a pity that the official meeting [of Pashinyan] with [US President Donald] Trump isn’t happening yet,” Ashotyan added.

Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday informed that he has postponed his working visit to the US for several days in order to cast his ballot in Sunday’s snap election for the capital city Yerevan municipal council.

“I mean to stress the importance of that one vote,” he had added, in particular.
