YEREVAN.- I could have never thought there could be a war between Ukraine and Russia, Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan said in an interview with Russia’s Kommersant newspaper, answering the question about the situation over Ukraine and Crimea.
According to him, Russians are convinced that Crimea is Russian.

"And historically, it is undoubtedly Russian. My attitude as an immigrant from Karabakh and the first president of Karabakh is that firslty the opinion of the people, living on that land, should be taken into account," he noted, adding that everything should be done respecting the  right of people to self-determination.
