Turkey is not facing an economic crisis, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to him, talks about the economic crisis are nothing more than manipulation, Anadolu reported.

Turkey is getting stronger every day, he said urging to use the local currency for rental payments "otherwise, they will pay the price.”

"There is no crisis, do not bothered by these [allegations]. It is all manipulation... Turkish lira will prevail in this country from now on... This is Turkey not America."

Lira has lost more than 40% in value since the beginning of the year. The central bank of the republic raised the basic interest rate to 24%, despite sharp criticism of this measure from the president himself.
