YEREVAN.- Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan received on Wednesday  Petr Mikyska, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Armenia and military attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Igor Kandrachion on the occasion of Igor's accreditation to the Republic of Armenia, Defense Ministry's press service reported.

The Defense Minister congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Kandrachi and noted that Armenian-Czech cooperation in the field of defense has many years of experience, there is a proper legal basis and a wish to develop cooperation between the sides. The cooperation in the military-technical sphere was also highlighted and the necessity to sign a legal document defining the scope of its implementation.

Ambassador Mikyska confirmed the  readiness of the Czech side to develop cooperation and expressed hope that the appointment of a new military attaché would give a new impetus to the relations.
