Iran will veto any OPEC decision that harms its interests, Bloomberg reported referring to Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh.

Some OPEC members have increased oil production more than the quotas they hold, the minister said adding that $80 per barrel is an acceptable price.

“I will block any OPEC decision that poses the slightest threat to Iran,” Zanganeh said.

Earlier, the Energy Ministry of Azerbaijan confirmed that on September 23 the issue of redistribution of quotas within the decision to restore production will be considered at a meeting of the OPEC monitoring committee.
