A 20-year-old serviceman Artur Gevorgyan, who was wounded during a mine explosion while carrying out military service in Mataghis, underwent surgery on September 20, Deputy Head of Yerevan Central military hospital Artashes Khachatryan told Armenian News - NEWS.am.

"One leg was amputated in Stepanakert, we performed a  surgery on his another leg in Yerevan. The soldier's condition is stable-heavy, "Khachatryan said.

The 20-year-old Artur Gevorgyan is a resident of Vanadzor.
