On the occasion of Independence Day, President Armen Sarkissian continues to receive congratulations from the leaders of various states, Armenian President press service reported.

In his congratulatory message, Italian President Sergio Mattarella noted Armenia and Italy have always been united by friendship, based on common values and fruitful interaction between the two peoples.

According to him, this is the basis for a lasting, full-scale cooperation between the countries, which stimulates Armenia's dialogue with the European Union.
