The visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Armenia has been discussed, said presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

According to him, the possible meeting between the Russian and Armenian leaders has already been discussed “but specific terms are not discussed yet.”

"It means that the presidents may meet not only in Dushanbe (at the CIS summit), but also in Astana at the CSTO session. The Eurasian Economic Union summit is planned in Moscow in December, which will also provide an opportunity for the leaders to talk, at least briefly. The question of the visit (to Armenia - ed.) or any deadlines has not been discussed yet,” he said adding that Putin may reportedly visit Armenia next year.

Russian leader’s last meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held recently, noted the aid, RIA Novosti reported.

"This year they had already met three times. For the last time the president and the prime minister talked together for about three hours,” he added.
