YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Thursday met with his Estonian colleague Sven Mikser, in New York.

Mnatsakanyan noted that Armenia underscores the enlargement of its cooperation with Estonia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The two FMs reflected also on Armenia-European Union (EU) partnership. In this context, they attached importance to the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement which, in their words, opens prospects for cooperation. And in this context, the interlocutors exchanged views on taking steps toward the implementation of Armenia-EU arrangements.

In addition, the Armenian and Estonian ministers discussed the 17th summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie—and which Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan will host in October, recorded their two countries’ fruitful bilateral cooperation in the IT sector, and stressed the need for invigorating bilateral cultural ties.
