YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Thursday met with Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland of the Council of Europe (CoE), on the sidelines of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The interlocutors lauded the effective cooperation between Armenia and the CoE, and they discussed Armenia’s engagement in this organization, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
FM Mnatsakanyan reflected on the recent political developments in Armenia, and the priorities of the program of the country’s new government.
Also, he presented to the CoE chief the Armenian party’s position and priorities in the process to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict.
