German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced plans to hold meetings with the leaders of Turkey, Russia and France to discuss Syria in October, AFP reported.
Her remark came after meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Berlin.
"We are in favour of a four-way meeting with the presidents of Turkey, Russia and France and myself because the situation (in Syria) is still fragile," Merkel said adding “We aim to do this in the month of October.”
