YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Friday met with his Finnish counterpart Timo Soini, within the framework of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The interlocutors conferred on the practical steps toward the further enlargement of the bilateral agenda between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Separately, Mnatsakanyan spoke about the recent political developments in Armenia, and the ongoing reforms by the country’s new government.

Reflecting on Armenia’s achievements in innovation technologies and high-tech—which are considered priority domains on the development agenda of the country’s government, the FM noted that Armenia attaches great importance to exchanging knowhow and launching projects in these domains with international partners.

The interlocutors exchanged views also on several regional and international matters. In this connection, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan presented the Finnish FM Armenia’s position and outlook on the process toward settling the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict.
