YEREVAN. – The Search 2018 joint tactical and specialized military exercises have kicked off Monday in Kazakhstan.

Intelligence-gathering forces and resources from the armed forces of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) are included in these drills, the Ministry of defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Army detachments from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan are participating in the exercises.

About three thousand soldiers from and more than 500 units of military equipment of CSTO member states are included in the Search 2018 military exercises, which will conclude on Friday.
