The Nobel Prize in Physics for 2018 was awarded to Arthur Ashkin, Gerard Mourou and Donna Strickland for innovative inventions in the field of nuclear physics, AP reported.
The award ceremony will be held in Stockholm on December 10, the day of the death of the founder of the Nobel Prizes - the Swedish entrepreneur and inventor Alfred Nobel (1833-1896).
The Nobel Prize amount for 2018 was set at Swedish kronor (SEK) 9.0 million per full Nobel Prize.
