YEREVAN.- Another protest was held in Yerevan on Wednesday. This time, the organizers were protesting against the participation of Armenia in the humanitarian mission in Syria.

One of the organizers of the action, director Tigran Khzmalyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am that “Armenia should not join the bloody Russian-Turkish union,” and he personally opposes Armenia’s participation in the mission in Syria.

According to Khzmalyan, the participation of Armenia is the result of pressure from Russia and Putin personally, and similar attempts have been made before.

However, Khzmalyan considers that Serzh Sargsyan, unlike Nikol Pashinyan, managed to resist. “It is surprising that the Prime Minister, who enjoys the support of the majority of the population, took this step without public discussion,” Khzmalyan complained.
