Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II has traveled to Paris to attend the commemoration and funeral ceremonies for the late Charles Aznavour, and which will be held on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
In addition, requiem services for the legendary French Armenian singer will be offered Saturday at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the diocesan seat churches of the dioceses of the Armenian Church.
Aznavour passed away Monday aged 94, in his house in southern France, and of natural causes.
