Criminal case is lunched against 26-year-old native of Georgia for suspected kidnapping in Upper Ufa, Chelyabinsk region of Russia.

According to investigators, on February 5, the young man with his friends forcibly dragged a 20-year-old girl into a car and drove her out of town. Later, the car was apprehended by traffic police.

The investigation established that earlier the man and his parents came to the girl several times trying to get her consent to marry him, but she refused.

He is facing up to 8 years of imprisonment.

Currently, the criminal investigation is in process.
