YEREVAN. – Deputy speaker of the Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov held a meeting with the chairman of Russia's State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.

In the course of the meeting, the sides highlighted the development and deepening of the Armenian-Russian inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation within the framework of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS.

The parties touched upon the issues on the organization of the works of the Plenary Sessions of the CSTO PA Council and the Assembly to be held in Yerevan on October 29-30.

Eduard Sharmazanov has once again assured that the Armenian National Assembly is ready to organize the abovementioned sessions at high level.
