The death toll from the earthquake on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi has risen to 2010, AP reported referring to the disaster agency.
According to agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, the toll from the September 28 disasters has climbed to 2010. The authorities will reportedly hold prayers on Thursday to mark the end of the search in the Petobo, Balaroa and Jono Oge areas of Palu city, where the quake caused loose soil to liquefy, swallowing houses and burying the occupants with them.
An earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred on September 28, with over 360 aftershocks recorded.
