The assets of Armenia’s banking system have increased by 10.5 percent ever since the revolution, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on Facebook.

“We are gathering thrust for economic flight,” he wrote. “Ever since the revolution—that is, since May to date—the assets of the banking system [in Armenia] have increased by 10.5 percent, loans have increased by 7.0 percent, loans to individuals have increased 10.4 percent, loans to legal entities have increased 4.3 percent.

“Deposits have increased by 9.2 percent.”
