Over 500,000 people have been advised to evacuate their homes on Florida‘s Gulf shore as Hurricane Michael strengthened to a Category 4 storm on Wednesday, iNews reported.

Currently, the hurricane is located 145 km south-west of the city of Apalachicola and is moving to the north at a speed of 5.5 m / s.

On Tuesday, the Gulf Coast companies decided to cut oil and gas production by 40% and 28%, respectively, due to an impending hurricane.
