French President Emmanuel Macron will pay a working visit to Armenia, the spokesperson for the Armenian PM Arman Yeghoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Macron’s visit to Armenia is not a state visit,” he said.

Emmanuel Macron will arrive in Armenia to participate in the 17th Francophonie summit on October 11-12.

Earlier, Macron’s state visit to Armenia was announced, which was to be held before the Francophonie summit.

According to a French source, his state visit was postponed until next year.
