YEREVAN. – It is very important to state the changes that occurred in Armenia, PM Nikol Pashinyan said during a joint presser with his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau.

The key thing that changed is that from now on a person having a PM seat represents the people. Pashinyan emphasized that not only people living in Armenia, but all Armenians, communities of Canada, Russia, all over the world were active participants in the political changes that took place in the country.

From now on, the parliament, the government and all state institutions have to consist of the representatives of the people, and no elections will change this.

“Not in the sense that they will be the same people. In the sense that people will change, but there will always be representatives of the people’s will.

“There is no doubt that these changes are forever, because democracy and the rule of law is not a representation of a political team, but of people. The revolution in Armenia was conducted not by a team or, especially by me, but the people. They have the power and it will always be like that,” Pashinyan said.
