The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has signed an executive order.

Accordingly, based on the Prime Minister’s proposal in accordance with the Constitution and pursuant to the law on the government makeup and activity, Tigran Khachatryan has been appointed Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia.

Back in October 2016, Khachatryan had been designated Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments.

During the rally outside the National Assembly building on October 2, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had announced about sacking the ministers and provincial governors who represented the Prosperous Armenia and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Parties.
