Dear Yerevanians, I want to congratulate you on the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation. This is a holiday not only for Yerevan dwellers but also for all those who love Yerevan and feel at home here as Yerevan is the capital of all Armenians.

I wish our Yerevan to be young and strong forever despite its venerable age. On these days I receive congratulations from different corners from the world and convey these congratulations to you, dear Yerevanians. I want to mention that the celebration has started in Yerevan since early morning, numerous festive events, fashion shows, thematic stages, cycling are awaiting you in different parts of Yerevan. By the way, I am participating in the start of the cycling.

Throughout the day I will be touring about the capital, meeting you and we will be congratulating one another and celebrating the jubilee of our beloved city together. I am sure that we will have a great day. At 19:30 the main event-the gala-concert is starting in Republic square and I hope it will fill you with positive energy and gift you unforgettable moments.

The festive evening will be full of Yerevanian music, there will be a historical reference, dramatized biography of the ancient and present day Yerevan shown on stage, and the event will be completed with a firework.

Once again I congratulate you, dear co-citizens, on this glorious event, I love you and wish all of us to celebrate the day in a high mood.
