At least nine people were injured in Istanbul in an attack by an escaped prisoner armed with a knife, local media reported on Monday, Sputnik reported.
A total of nine people were sent to a hospital after a man randomly attacked pedestrians in Kadikoy residential neighborhood of Istanbul, according to the NTV broadcaster. Police detained the perpetrator, the broadcaster said, adding that the investigation into the incident is underway.
