Baku is not ready to take concrete constructive steps in order to resolve the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, the spokesperson for Artsakh President David Babayan told Armenian News- NEWS.am.

His remark came in repose to comment on Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov’s statement.

“The line inherent in Baku is clearly visible in the words of the Azerbaijani minister. On the one hand, they pretend to be ready to negotiate, while on the other hand they are not going to depart from their objectives. The goal of the Azerbaijani authorities is the gradual, and “bloodless” incorporation of Artsakh. Such a scenario will deprive the Karabakh people of any rights, and will destroy the future of Artsakh. The goal of the Azerbaijani authorities is to carry out the “white genocide”. However, this scenario will remain unfulfilled,” said Babayan adding that the army and the people of Artsakh are always on full alert.
