The position of Washington and Moscow coincides on the Karabakh conflict, President of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamyan told reporters in Yerevan on Tuesday.

According to him, US-Russian relations are rather strained, but all the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries are interested in securing peace in the Transcaucasian region, and especially in Karabakh.

“Everyone is interested in this, including US, Russia and Europe represented by France. Russia is not interested in a conflict near its borders,” Abrahamyan noted.
